OOTN||A bit of Mono

On Saturday I went out to celebrate one of my friends birthdays down at a 90s rave in Houndsditch. I love,  love, love 90s music so I couldn't take myself away from the dance floor.

The picture isn't doing the skirt much justice but it has tiny thin black and white lines going all the way down. This has to be my favourite item I have taken from my Mum's old clothes from back in the day, it fits so nicely.

I've kept my Office block heels in good condition since I bought them around 2 years ago. They are not a walk in the park. Trust me!

OOTD||Hi Lo Shirt

Yesterday I wore this to an event I attended in London, simple as usual. I exchanged my backpack for something a bit more sophisticated. This bag is actually stolen from my Mum, I always nag her asking why she didn't purchase one for me :( but it's all mine now mwahaha.

This is a close up of the bag it has two sets of straps to carry on your shoulder or on your arm. I love the back of my shirt, it fits perfectly I just rolled up the arms to make it a bit more me.

OOTD||Notorious Tee

Here's an outfit I threw together yesterday when heading out. I got my Notorious tee from Urban Outfitters in the men section, I love it! I bought it in a large so that it would be more versatile when putting outfits together. 

 

My gold chain is from Claire's which I bought a couple months back, I think they're still selling them for a good price.

I think Missguided knows my name..my name..my name name

This post is totally pointless and sorry if it bores you but I just wanted to share my excitement for Missguided having a pair of leggings with the same name as me! Although they don't know I exist LOL I was so happy to see a sexy site such as this use my name and spell it the way my mama spelt mine. I was literally googling my name because yes guys I am that sad and then that popped up. 

I say we all support the cause and buy a pair because heyy my name just got cooler yo!

Dimension

Hey guys, thought I'd share with you the jewellery I've been reaching for the most lately. I love everything dimensional at the moment especially my bronze square earrings, I wear them with everything! The bronze triangle earrings are becoming a favourite too. I need to start buying more silver jewellery I don't seem to own much. Also I want to buy more big round hoops I have fallen in love with them again.

Muse of the Month||Solange Knowles

From box braids to matching prints, Solange Knowles is a trend setter. I adore her quirky style, she makes fashion look so fun with the clashing of colours and bold prints she uses. Solange interprets the 60s and 70s with a modern twist, making the dull and old look bright and new. I love Solange because she is fearless and doesn't conform to what's supposedly "on trend", she dresses how she feels which inspires me to do the same.

In Solange's most recent music video "Losing You" which in my opinion is a beautiful 80s vibe tune; she wears everything high waisted and vibrant and it's only fair that everyone else in the video looked jazzy too. She wore some amazing pieces that just wowed my mind. If you haven't already seen it watch it here.

  

These are just some of my favourite looks from the video, not many people could pull this off but she makes it look so effortless.

My only question now is, why has she not graced the front cover of Vogue yet?

Easter

Hey guys sorry for the recent absence of posts, I haven't left my house that much due to the cold streets of London and when I have done I dressed like an Eskimo so it just would have been pointless. 

I Hope you all have had a nice Easter, mine was quite relaxing I indulged in only one creme egg which I forgot I hate the taste of :(.

This month better be sunshine friendly so that I can give you more OOTD posts. Those are my favourite to read from a blog so I'm hoping they'll be yours too. xx
